Leslie & Scott RETURN to Little Lake Hill. They 'christened' the house concert series in July of 2000 and it is our GREATEST PLEASURE to have them back!

Scott's distinctive fretless bass and expressive guitar work has graced hundreds of recordings. His studio credits range from James Taylor, the Band, Keith Richards, Dave Brubeck, Livingston Taylor, Happy & Artie Traum, Jean Redpath, John Sebastian, Tom Paxton, Stevie Wonder, to name a few! When he's not performing he is running NRS Recording Studio in Catskill, NY. As a producer his recordings have earned Grammy nominations, Top 40 singles and Gold Records. He has released a solo instrumental bass record, "Sbass Music" which debuted at the top of the NAV (New Age Voice) charts. He studied composition and arranging at Berklee College of Music. Scott has scored films for the BBC and is a member of the seminal political/poetic rock group the Fugs. Leslie is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter. Her Shanachie release "Take Me Home" placed two singles on the Adult Contemporary charts. She is a well respected session singer who has appeared on recordings with Dr. John, Rick Danko, Livingston Taylor and many others. Leslie's voice is like pure gold. "A snapshot of the duo's approach was visible when they performed Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock". Ritter sang a dark, rangy interpretation of the song. She traveled to some exceptionally beautiful spaces during the show with her nimble voice."  Metrolands

"Circles in Sand", their 2nd release is the winner of Folk Record of the Year (NAV Magazine) Their first CD, "In the Silence" won the Best Album (Just Plain Folks Music Awards), Best Vocal Album Finalist (NAV Magazine), Favorite Album Adult Alternative Artists (Rhythm and News Magazine), Top 10 Single ("Forgiveness" FM1 Chart), and Best Live Performance from a Group (Albany Metrolands Best of 2000 list). "Reminiscent of Shawn Colvin, Mary Black and early Joni Mitchell, yet refreshingly unique." Rory Block. "Music so gorgeous you can almost see it...the musical equivalent of a Monet painting..." Times Herald Record. Learn MORE about Scott and Leslie. Also, check out the link to the FIRST SHOW below.
